What:
- VRRS is a unique broadcast service.
- We provide access to information
to people living without vision.
- We read a large array of material from a
variety of local publications.
- We produce and broadcast issue oriented programs.
- We are an audio newsstand for people who can no longer read due to vision
loss.

Why: - There
are approximately 40,000 people living without vision in Massachusetts.

When: - 24 hours per day, 7 days
per week, 365 days per year
- 45 hours per week of our schedule is local material.

How: - We broadcast
on sidebands of several radio stations in our area.
- We operate thanks to the
generosity of approximately 70 volunteers.
- We are funded through support from
Government, Foundations, Businesses, Individuals, and Special Events.
